On October 1st, 2025, Hamtramck Police Officers responded to Charest St within the City of Hamtramck regarding a home invasion, where several items were stolen from within the residence by an unknown suspect. With the use of investigative tools and techniques combined with cooperative victim, detectives were able to identify a suspect.
On November 12th, 2025, the Hamtramck Police Department was able to apprehend and take into custody the suspect without incident. During a search incident to arrest Officers located methamphetamine on the suspect and were able to locate and recover multiple stolen items.
On November 14, 2025 the suspect was arraigned in the 31st District Court on charges of Home Invasion in the 2nd degree, receiving and concealing stolen property, and possession of methamphetamine.
